Forests Adrift: Currents Shaping the Future of Northeastern Forests
Brief presentation by Dr. Charles D. Canham, Forest Ecologist

Charles Canham studies the dynamics of forest ecosystems and how they operate under ever-shifting conditions driven by human impacts. Canham marries novel statistical methods with computer models to predict forests’ response to climate change, introduced pests and pathogens, logging regimes, and excess nitrogen inputs. 

 

EcoKids
Activities for children (ages 5 and up) led by an ecologist and educator.
A separate bag lunch will be provided for kids.
